The Book of Job

     Ever get the feeling that anything and everything is going wrong in your life? Whenever I get this feeling I turn to my favorite book in the bible: Job. Job went through so much but his faith in God never wavered.

     Job had his faith tested by Satan. God actually allowed Job’s faith to be tested by Satan. Job lost his health and his wife even suggests he commit suicide. Through all this, Job put his faith in God. After his trials, God rewards Job with twice as much as he had. 

“Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him” - Job 1:12

“Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.” - Job 1:22

"After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his former possessions." - Job 42:10

     We need to have faith in God like Job did. God never gives us more than we can handle.  Next time you’re going through a rough patch, pray and read the book of Job. It’s all the motivation I need to power through my trials.
