My Life Verses

We all have that verse in the Bible that we turn to when we are facing things in life. It could be losing a job, a pet, loved one, or any other tough situation life hands you. I know when I was looking for a new job as well as when I was in college and struggling to pass math (my worst subject) I turned to what I refer to as my life verse. My life verse is Psalm 23:4.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”Psalm 23:4
This lets me know that no matter what challenge I am going through I am not alone. This helped comfort me when I was looking for a new job and when I felt I couldn’t pass that math class in college. I knew God was there and for me not to worry or fear anything. I have a few more life verses depending on the situation but Psalm 23:4 is definitely my favorite though.
A few of my favorite life verses I turn to when I am going through something are as follows:
“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”Jeremiah 29:11
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”Isaiah 40:28-31
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”Deuteronomy 31:6
What is your life verse or verses? Hopefully my life verses can help you through whatever you may be going through.
