Testifying About Your Answered Prayers

We have all had things we have prayed about and our prayers have been answered. It could have been a prayer for a sick friend or family member. My mom had a rare disease my junior year of high school. We had people from all over the country praying for her. She was on a feeding tube and a ventilator for quite some time. After several months God answered our prayers and healed my mother.
We testified at several churches about the wonderful miracle and healing God provided my mother. Another example of a testimony was when I prayed for another job and after several interviews I got my job with Verizon. I testified about God’s blessing via this blog and on my Facebook page. I still post about different blessing on my Facebook page.
As Christians we sometimes forget to testify about the blessings God has provided us. The testimony doesn’t have to be in a church. You can testify via a phone call, text, social media, etc. The main thing is sharing the wonderful blessings that God has done in your life. The Bible has some verses about testifying.
“Therefore everyone who confesses me before men, I will also confess him before my father who is in heaven.”Matthew 10:32
“That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”Romans 10:9
“Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me his prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God.”2 Timothy 1:8
“Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you. So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him."Luke 8:39

Remember that your testimony via that phone call, text, tweet, social media posts, etc. might just be the encouragement and uplifting someone else needed to hear. You never know when your testimony will help others going through something similar. So don’t be afraid, ashamed,  or embarrassed to share that testimony of how God has greatly blessed you and answered your prayer!
