Church & Family

Why did God decide to put us in a family and not leave us to live alone and just have friends and co workers? One if the first things we learn in the bible is that families were God's idea. I think He made a family because He wanted it to be like His relationship with the church. In the bible God calls the church His bride.
"The Lord God said 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him'"Genesis 2:18
Then we have children and with children they're going to need to be nurtured and taught the difference from right and wrong. By going to church, we learn and grow closer to God just like children do from their parents.
"God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.'"Genesis 1:28
Now, in life we will face challenges and there will be times where we stray away from church and God. Just like children rebel against their parents, but just like your parents, they will be there for you once you are ready to come back with open arms. I know in my own personal life, there has been stretches where I didn't have a chance to go to church every Sunday either because of work, being tired, or going out to do other things. I felt almost out of balance when stuff like that happens.
"These commandments that I give to you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up"Deuteronomy 6:6‭-‬7
In the end God put us in families to help grow, learn, and to be a support system. He wants us to live the same way  with Him in our life. Don’t forget to subscribe and leave us a comment.
