Coping with Death

     We all have unfortunately had to deal with losing a loved one. This includes pets as well. For a lot of people, a pet is more like a child or sibling. I had a cat that I viewed like a brother more than my pet. It was hard to deal with his death. He was my best friend and brother for over 22 years.  There are some bible verses we can turn to that will help us through this difficult time.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." - John 3:16

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 8:38-39

"For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.” - Romans 14:8
