Pray for Specific Requests

When praying, we need to make sure we are being specific. If you pray, don’t say generic requests like, “God I pray for healing.” Be specific, if you have a headache, ask for headache relief. If you are asking for blessings with work, be specific. If you are seeking a raise, new job, etc...be clear and ask for it specifically.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.  “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."Matthew 7:7-12
“Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.”Mark 11:24
Jesus said, "Most assuredly I tell you, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you will not only do what is done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done. All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." - Matthew 21:21-22
Being specific in prayer helps us to focus on our request and for God to deliver the proper blessing to you. Imagine it like going to a doctor and just saying “I hurt”. The doctor isn’t going to know how to properly treat you. So don’t just pray “Lord bless me.” Be specific in your prayer so God can bless you properly!
