Blueprints to Life

Life is like building a complicated machine. We start with  an endless pile of scrap metal and gears not knowing what to do. We try to build this machine on our own; we may get some pieces right...but we will ultimately mess it up. Each wrong fitting-piece keeps us from achieving certain points in our life...essentially, we toss a monkey wrench into our lives by doing what WE want rather than what He wants.

Would you like to know how to build this machine, a blueprint for your life? It's not easy because it requires us to surrender everything we know and do...to surrender it all to God.

"Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, and give up your sins even those you do in secret. Then you won’t be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless."Job 11:13-15

We need to put the tools down, kneel, pray, and be still. God has the instructions and will help us build that machine one piece at a time. We might not know why or what a part might do, but God knows the big picture. Listen to everything He says and don’t try to push Him away saying “I got it from here” because we WILL stumble, we will screw up, and the machine will fall apart...again

"Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." - Matthew 16:24-25

When we follow God on our life’s journey, in the end, we will have built together a perfectly working machine like no other. Let us follow the path that God has carved out for us, so that we can experience life filled with joy and love.
