A True Superhero

If you are like me, you really enjoy watching superhero movies where the Hero saves the damsel in distress, a city, or the World itself. The Hero goes through tremendous adversity, so much so that it appears there is only a slimmer of hope for victory, yet somehow the Hero pulls through and defeats the Villain (Well...unless the film you watched was called Avengers Infinity War Part 1). When I exit the movie theater, I imagine what it would be like, to be the Hero defeating the Villain and saving the lives of many. To have incredible strength and powers while risking my life to save others. This imaginative world eventually fades away and I am left with the reality where such superheroes do not exist...or do they?

The Bible is the Word of God, correct? It's the book of Truth and in it's pages, a Savior is born, displays tremendous powers, rejects temptations, and survives a world full of adversity. He could do ALL yet he still chose to give his life for ALL of ours. He served God's Purpose and become a Hero to ALL Mankind, a true Savior. This man is named Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ saved all of humanity. Not just the people of a city or the people currently living, but ALL...past, present, and future Mankind. Jesus not only risked his life, he gave his life for us because he Loves us. Because of the Love Jesus has for us and giving his life in place of ours, we now have access to Heaven where we get to live eternity with our Father!

Let us live our life in honor of Jesus Christ and our Father above. Honor them by living life full of Love. Display the Love of Christ, the Love of God, in everything you do! Turn away from sin and the way of the world. Don't be "of the world," where they openly reject and ridicule the man who died for us.

"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them." - John 2:15

Take a moment to imagine, standing before Jesus the moment he is dying on the cross for your sins and present to him what you have done with your life. What would you say? Would you be able to tell him you are truly living your life for him and God. That you have turned away from sin and away from that of the world? Realize that when we die, we will be doing just that! We will be judged. Through Jesus Christ, we shall enter the kingdom of Heaven.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" - John 14:6
"Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9
